Add some color to your winter when you take any of the exciting classes at Orange Beach Arts Center, including these opportunities:
An introduction to pastels may be exactly what you need to begin or expand your artistic experiences. Tommy Vogel will be explaining, demonstrating and offering one-on-one assistance for six Fridays beginning January 14, from 10:00 until noon. The $80 fee includes all supplies needed to create a picture during each class period while concentrating on specific techniques, color applications and compositions
Plein air is a special oil painting technique that Jo Hall is excited to share with her students. The seven-week course will be held on Saturdays beginning January 15, 12:30 until 5:00. The fee of $150 covers instruction in composition, color, paint application, drawing and self critique.
A series of classes in digital photography is scheduled for Wednesdays from 1:00 until 3:00 and Saturday mornings from 9:30 until 11:30 throughout January. Each class stands on its own, so you can choose just one or two or enjoy the entire lineup; fee is $27 per class. Some occur twice within this schedule, and you are welcome to repeat them.
